In 2017, around the time we began building our expertise in React Native, Google released an alpha of Flutter - a framework to “build natively compiled, multi-platform applications from a single codebase.” Being a team fascinated in new technology, we began building prototypes and evaluating Flutter as an option for mobile app development.
After several years of development, Flutter has become a great option for mobile app development. Backed by Google, and supported by many developers around the world, it means there is the stability and long-term viability for production ready mobile apps.
Flutter provides a way to develop apps for multiple platforms, including Android and iOS, without compromising on speed or user experience — iOS and Android standard design patterns are built into the Flutter framework. This allows us to cut down on development, support, and maintenance time to reduce the overall cost.
