Avoid Scams & Fake Websites

Recently, increasingly sophisticated scammers are targeting people online pretending to be from Adapptor asking them to complete tasks within an application for money. These scammers are not representatives of our company.

We wish we didn’t have to write this post, but after receiving reports from people asking the legitimacy, we thought it necessary to write a short post on what to look for so that you don’t fall victim to their tactics.

We will never send you to a webpage that is not www.adapptor.com.au

1. We will never contact you through WhatsApp

We will only ever email people from our own domain. For example;

hello@adapptor.com.au

If you are being contacted within WhatsApp, it is not a representative of Adapptor.

2. Only trust links from adapptor.com.au

You may be directed to a web page and asked to sign up to a service to complete tasks. This was not developed by Adapptor. Please ensure you review the URL of the page, if it is not www.adapptor.com.au it is not legitimate.

3. We do not outsource. 100% of our team is in Perth, Australia.

If you are being contacted by someone from outside of Australia or that has a mobile number that does not begin in +61 then it is not a representative of Adapptor. Please ignore and report these individuals.
